NIGERIAN SINGER, JIBROMAH, AIMS TO BREAK THE CURRENT RECORD FOR LONGEST SINGING PERFORMANCE AT 105 HOURS
Blessing Jibromah, a Nigerian singer has announced her intention to break the current Guinness World Record (GWR) at 105 hours of singing.
She made this known while speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in an interview on Thursday,13th June, 2024.
According to her, the purpose of her attempt to break this world record is not only to engrave her name in the history of music but to inspire Nigerian singers and performers to dream big.
"I am thrilled to announce my desire to break the GWR for the longest singing marathon (Sing-A-Thon) .
"I am not driven just by the challenge itself but by the potential benefits it can bring to Nigerians," She stated.
Jibromah is attempting to set a new record of 144 hours of singing which is approximately 39 hours above the current record which is held by an Indian singer, Sunil Waghmare.
The 144-hour sing- a- thon is scheduled for July 27 to August 2 at Unique Park Gardens, Sky memorial, Zone 5, Abuja.
