The National Association of Students of English and Literary Studies (NASELS), Obafemi Awolowo University has extended the departmental registration deadline for stalites to Friday, January 23rd. This was after the executive council made and implemented the decision students who fail to pay their dues will be denied access to departmental resources, especially the library. The decision has since then generated different reactions from students in the department. A correspondent of NCBOAU, while speaking with the President on Tuesday, January 6, reported that he said that they have ended the collection of dues for at that moment but that does not mean students can ignore their responsibilities stating that student who has not paid their due will no longer be allowed access to the library until further notice.
