Afeez: My name is Olagbaju Afeez Olatomide. I'm from a muslim family of 6. I have three siblings and we are all boys. NCB: How about your educational background? I proceeded to Faith Standard Schools for my primary and secondary education.  The NASELS Communication Bureau, Obafemi Awolowo University (NCBOAU) held its 2025 induction ceremony on Saturday, December 6, at the University campus.  The program opened with the national and school anthems, after which the Editor-in-Chief, Olaoye Peace, delivered her welcome address. She reminded the inductees that joining the bureau is both a privilege and a responsibility, stressing the need for reliability and active participation throughout their time in the university. Speaking about her hopes for the incoming members, she said her desire is for them to approach their duties with genuine commitment and a willingness to learn, unlearn and grow. By Comfort Oladapo  Students residing on campus in Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) have expressed their concerns over the poor water condition supplied from the dam that serves all hostels on campus.  The water is often dirty, unsafe for drinking, unfit for cooking, and, in several cases, not even suitable for bathing. The state of the water has worsened in recent weeks. Residents claim the water frequently appears brownish, contains particles, and has a foul smell that results in skin irritation such as rashes, eczema, ringworm, etc. Students in most cases are left with no option other than to make use of the water because of the unavailability of borehole water. A resident of Moremi Hall who chose to remain anonymous described the situation as “unbearable", "the water that comes out of the tap is not clean at all. AYOKA: Ayoka is a lot of things, but I like to describe her as a creative by choice and a student by force. While it is one of my names, Ayoka hasn’t always been in existence.
