This degree is just a means to an end --- FaveStitches

NCB: Good afternoon, it’s nice to have you here. FYB: Good afternoon. I’m glad to be here. NCB: Can we meet you? FYB: Thank you. I am Oladunjoye Favour Oluwanifemi. I’m a crochet artist and a graphic designer. NCB: What do you mean by crochet artist? FYB: It is a more fancier word for crocheter. Basically, I make nice clothes and accessories from strands of yarn. NCB: Tell us little about your background. FYB: I am the first of four kids- I have 3 younger siblings and I do not think I had a very fun childhood because we were always indoors. I am the perfect example of an ‘omo get inside’. I did not get to play lots of games and even now, I do not know how to play some games. But I enjoyed being raised in my family. We always have one another’s back. NCB: Aside the fact that you really find it hard to play games, what other aspects has that ‘get-inside’ stuff affected you? FYB: Positively, it taught me to love my space. I do not l...

NCB : Let’s meet you FYB : I am Favour Oluwabukola Ajayi, from Kogi state. My birthday is on November 16, I am twenty-two years old and I am from Abuja. NCB : You grew up in Abuja? FYB : Yeah, I was born and raised in Abuja, had my secondary school in Ibadan, though and relocated back to Abuja afterwards. NCB: Did that affect you in any way, maybe in making friends ? FYB : Yeah, it affected me because when we relocated back to Abuja after my secondary school, I lost contact with a lot of my secondary school friends. NCB : How would you describe growing up? FYB : It was fun, yeah, a bit intimate with my family. NCB: Tell us little about your family? FYB : It’s a monogamous family. My parents have three (3) children which I am the 2nd child and we are all girls, no boy. It doesn’t really have an effect on me (I am quite indiffere...

Timilehin Emerges Victorious in Quintessentials Class Representative Election Amidst Controversy

The Class of Quintessentials recently held an election to select new class representatives following the suspension of Idowu Damilola, popularly known as Cypher, and the voluntary resignation of Diyaolu Rachael, also known as Kiki. The former was impeached due to allegations of misappropriation of PAS funds and the subsequent confusion over how the funds were spent. The latter cited health issues as the reason for her resignation. In the wake of these developments, NASELS Executives organized an election to fill the vacant positions. The contenders for the class representative posts were Timilehin, Muhideen, and Agaba Moses. Timilehin emerged as the clear winner with 42 votes, followed by Muhideen with 25 votes and Moses with 18 votes. As a result, Timilehin was selected to fill the position of Cypher, while Muhideen became the assistant class representative, taking up Kiki’s former role. Furthermore, Moranugba won the vacant post of the Nasels Students Representative Council (NSR...

Quintessential Class Rep, Cipher Goes Missing Along With Contributed Funds for PAS.

NCB OAU On April 3rd, 2023, a class meeting was convened at the sports complex by the Quintessential class to address the issue of mismanagement of funds contributed for the procurement of a public address system (PAS) during the recently concluded harmattan semester. Esteemed members of the class and individuals from within and outside the class attended the meeting seeking clarification on the complexity surrounding the missing funds. During the meeting, Miss Faith Olabiyi, the President of NASELS OAU, called upon a witness to give an account of the issue. Esther Owolabi, the Assistant Class Representative of Literature, came forward to provide her testimony. According to her statement, which she had earlier released on the class page, the class contributed funds for the purchase of two PAS during the harmattan semester, and the fund was kept with Damilola Emmanuel Idowu aka Cypher. Although, only a few student made the necessary payment. A coincidence occurred when an SER assignment...
