The Class of Quintessentials recently held an election to select new class representatives following the suspension of Idowu Damilola, popularly known as Cypher, and the voluntary resignation of Diyaolu Rachael, also known as Kiki. The former was impeached due to allegations of misappropriation of PAS funds and the subsequent confusion over how the funds were spent. The latter cited health issues as the reason for her resignation.
In the wake of these developments, NASELS Executives organized an election to fill the vacant positions. The contenders for the class representative posts were Timilehin, Muhideen, and Agaba Moses. Timilehin emerged as the clear winner with 42 votes, followed by Muhideen with 25 votes and Moses with 18 votes. As a result, Timilehin was selected to fill the position of Cypher, while Muhideen became the assistant class representative, taking up Kiki’s former role.
Furthermore, Moranugba won the vacant post of the Nasels Students Representative Council (NSRC) in a landslide victory over her runner-up, Toyosi Afolabi.
