5 MUST-HAVE ITEMS FOR YOUR NEW SEMESTER WARDROBE

Dress Styles

This is going to be a two-part series on shopping for a new session if you are on holiday or this semester if you’re about to.

Like me, you’re probably thinking about how to manage funds and get new outfits. I’m here to help point out needs from wants, you know, the unavoidable.

So without further ado, here are a few must-haves for your resumption closet.

  1. Bags: Bags are necessities regardless of gender, style, or age. Getting the right bag can be hard, I mean we have many clothes that refuse to go with just any bag. To make it easy, here are some that you will most definitely need: a book bag, a cross bag, a tote gag, and a chic fashion bag (you get as many of these in particular).
  2. Shades: Shades tie an outfit together. Regardless of your style, shades are a finality that gives you a classy and complete look.  They are perfect for everyone and for every occasion.
  3.  Umbrellas: This accessory is constantly underutilized. Umbrellas are great for sunny days and rainy days. I’ll advise you to get more than one if you can, it’s important to add options.
  4. Jewellery: From simple earrings to chockers to extravagant necklaces, jewellery allows us to express ourselves in ways we never thought possible. So for this holiday, as you go shopping, I suggest looking out for items that fully explain your style and bring your outfits together.
  5. Underwear: I know this is a weird thing to put on the list, but it is very important and mostly forgotten. I mean, a lot of people don’t seem to realize this but the right underwear gives you a lot of confidence, which you need as a student of OAU.

Sometimes, we consider how expensive these items are, that we keep them out of list but you can always get these at not too expensive prices suitable for your purse type. Never be caught unaware in dare need of these items. Make yourself comfortable this semester while it last.
