The Association of Campus Journalists, Obafemi Awolowo University conducts examination exercise for intending Journalist at the First Bank Lecture Theatre on Saturday 23rd November, 2024.   The examination was supervised by the executive and Editors- in - chief of various news agencies on campus. It commenced around 8:30am with multiple written sections which was to test the aspirants knowledge of journalism, their level of awareness of campus activities, their basic lexical and the history of Obafemi Awolowo University.   The exercise was concluded with an oral interview after which prospective members left for respective residences in expectation of their results.

The highly anticipated International Conference of English Language and Literary Studies (ICOSEL) came to a close on November 11, 2024, after a successful five-day run. Themed "Reawakening: English Literary Studies and the Creative Industries - Government Collaboration and the Need for Economic Diversification in Nigeria," the conference brought together English students from across Nigeria. The event featured academic sessions, cultural exchange, and entertainment.
